ART

The first art day was all about drawing techniques. Some of the skills learnt and developed included; toning, cross hatching, scribbling and pointillism. The students also learnt how to create a 3D sphere using a variety of textual skills. 

After practicing the sketching techniques, the students created two pieces of art. An observational drawing of a bowl of eggs and their own creative drawing including a sphere. Students were asked to include a variety of sketching skills in both art works.

The second art day continues with drawing techniques. Students will explore movement and emotion in line drawings. The lesson also includes creating a variety of patterns and developing lines to show different textures. Students will create two pieces of art. An observational drawing using different lines and an abstract using a variety of patterns and textural lines.
